Pokemon - Ruby Version (U)(Mugs) is an action, adventure, RPG game that was developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. This game features the Pokemon from the third generation as the debuted Pokemon.
lowlifesavage rates this game: 5/5This adventure is set in the Hoenn region where you train, battle, and explore with your pokemon. You also battle Team Magma in an attempt to stop their threats to pokemon.

haloidevolved rates this game: 3/5Pokemon Ruby is Gamefreak's third entry in the main series of Pokemon. Players will have the chance to explore the region of Hoenn along with new protagonists, Team Magma in Ruby and Team Aqua in Saphhire. Around 150 new Pokemon were also introduced, allowing the player to yet again 'catch 'em all.'
The Day/Night was hence removed from this version but makes up for it with Double Battles, support for up to four players, Secret Bases, and Contests, all new to the series. It also has connectivity with Pokemon Colleseum and it's sequel Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Channel, Pokemon Emerald, and Fire Red and Leaf Green, adding lots of exciting multiplayer options.
Pokemon Ruby Version is often a underrated game, and I highly enjoyed it, and I would recommend it to any hardcore Pokemon fans.

Pocket69 rates this game: 5/5Pokemon Emerald has to be one of the greatest entries into the Pokemon series. Being the third generation of Pokemon it added over 100 new monsters for you to catch and train, it also introduced weather effects such as rain, and sandstorm.
The biggest and greatest feature that it introduced has to be the Battle Frontier. Seven different ways to battle climb up through ranks and fight the Frontier Brain at the 50th battle and 100th battle respectively earns you the medal for that specific zone. So if you're looking to test your Pokemon knowledge and skill match ups, its the perfect place to train.
kurifu rates this game: 5/5Inarguably one of the best Pokémon games I've ever played. Pokémon Emerald is the third Generation III Pokémon game for the GameBoy Advance.
I've never really felt bored with this title. You always had something to do. You can catch, train, and trade Pokémon, battle other trainers, and plant berries that you can use either as medicine or an ingredient to a Pokéblock. There were also Pokémon contests which test other aspects of your Pokémon if ever you get tired of all the battling.
The graphics and sound are good and immersive for a GBA title. It's kinda relaxing hearing the Pokémon Center theme when you come in after an exhausting day of training.
All in all, this game will always have a special place in my heart no matter how many new Pokémon games come after it.
Pontinho rates this game: 5/5Same story BUT...its slightly different plus they move like in pokemon crystal, you can get more pokemon like usual beforehand; like sudowoodo, smeargle you can unlock more pokemon in the safari zone as you complete a certain task then having to trade much afterwards. Really cool game, and more things like the battle frontier, a change in the last gym and champion, the story of team magma and aqua and groundon, kyogre and rayquaza. also the fact that you can catch all three not to mention that they increased in levels than ruby and sapphire ones.
Simply the best pokémon game on the GBA.
Poke'mon Emerald is the third poke'mon game that takes place in the Honen region. It is an upgrade to the Ruby and Sapphire versions. Some additions include, new areas, revamped poke'mon sprites and animations, the Battle Frontier, Updated Gym leaders and Elite Four. If you play only one Poke'mon game from the 3rd generation, play this one.
